Ask on the page

Draw on it, or drop a pin on the button in question. The note stays attached to the element you picked, and moves with it when the layout changes.

They answer in place

Whoever opens the link gets the live page with your comments already on it. They reply where the problem is, so the answer sits next to the question.

You sort what comes back

A thread takes a priority and an assignee, and closes when the work is done. The panel lists every note on the PageComment link so nothing gets lost between rounds.

Where the notes go next.

Into your tracker, shortly: Basecamp, Jira, Asana, Shortcut, Monday and GitHub Projects are the ones being wired up, so a comment can become a ticket without anyone retyping it.
To an agent, if you want: Every note carries the selector and the surrounding markup of what it points at, which is what a coding agent needs to find the thing you meant.
Right where you left them: The link keeps a list of everything on it, which carries a round of review by itself. Comments you left can be edited or deleted from the browser you wrote them in.

Before you ask.

Does the other person need anything?

A browser is enough. They open the link and can reply as soon as the page loads.

Which pages work?

Public ones work. Our servers fetch the page the way a visitor would, so a page behind a login arrives logged out. A few large sites refuse to be embedded at all.

Who can see a PageComment link?

Whoever you send it to can open it. The id in the address is 21 random characters, so it will not be guessed. Treat the link like a key, because holding it means being able to change what is there.

How long does a PageComment link last?

90 days from the last time someone opened it. Opening it resets the clock, so anything in active use stays put.

Can I get this into Jira or Basecamp?

That work is under way. The plan is for a comment to become a ticket that links back to the PageComment link it came from, so nobody retypes anything. Until it lands, a link holds its own list and you can export the notes as markdown.

What does it cost?

All of this is free. There will be paid enterprise features later.
